Black Jamun Ice-cream Recipe – Ingredients, Method for Making

Black Jamun Ice-cream is one of the awesome and unique ice-cream made at home. It is very easy to prepare and takes hardly 25 minutes to prepare. It has a creamy texture. It is very healthy, specially for the diabetic people, as we have used black jamun here.

Black jamun Ice-cream

Ingredients for making Black Jamun Ice-cream

  • 2 1/2 cup (1/2 litre) milk (low fat)
  • 2 tablespoon corn flour
  • 1 1/2 cup chopped Fresh Black Jamun
  • 4 teaspoon Sugar substitute

Method for making Black Jamun Ice-cream

  • Mix cornflour in 1/2 cup of cold milk and keep aside.
  • Take a non-stick pan and bring the remaining milk to a boil and add the cornflour mixture.
  • Stir continuosly over a slow flame.
  • Continue this procedure till it coats the back of the spoon.
  • Now cool completely and add the sugar substitute.
  • Add the black jamun and mix well.
  • Pour into an air-tight container.
  • Freeze for nearly 4 to 6 hours.
  • Now, take it out and blend it in a blender till it is slushy.
  • Pour again into the air-tight container.
  • Now freeze till the ice-cream is set.
