Fruit Salad Recipe – Ingredients, Method of Cooking

Fruit Salad is the combination of fruits and milk, which is custard. It is also called as Fruit custard. The custard powder is added first to the milk and then boiled. When it comes to room temperature, the fruits are added and refrigerated. It is very easy to prepare this and tastes very delicious.
Fruit Salad

Ingredients for making Fruit Salad

  • 2 1/2 litre Milk (Dudh)
  • Sugar as per taste
  • 3 tablespoon Custard powder
  • 2-3 finely chopped Apple
  • 2-3 Pomegranate
  • 2 finely chopped Banana
  • 1/4 kg Grapes, each cut into half

Method for making Fruit Salad

  • Mix the custard powder in little milk, which is cold. The cold milk helps in reducing the formation of lumps.
  • Now add this milk to the remaining milk and put it on the gas til it comes to boil.
  • Saute it continuously, till the milk comes to boil.
  • Add sugar and stir well.
  • Then put off the gas and let the milk cool.
  • Refrigerate it, by adding all the fruits.
  • Fruit Salad is ready to serve. Serve Cool.

Tip

  • Apple and Pomegranate are the major requirements of the fruit salad, without which the real taste of the fruit salad may not come.
  • Any type of fruits can be added to the fruit salad.
  • The final result of fruit salad should not be too thick (the milk should not be too thick), it may change the real taste.
