Mushroom Soup Recipe – Ingredients, Method of Cooking

Mushroom soup is very delicious. It carries a huge health clout. A mushroom can be described as a fleshy, spore-bearing fruit body of fungus. Usually, Mushrooms are a low-calorie food. It has a good source of vitamin B. It is very easy to cook and if cooked correctly, they do have wonderful flavors.

Ingredients for making Mushroom Soup

  • 1 teaspoon Oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped Onions
  • 2 teaspoon plain flour ( Maida )
  • 3 cups thickly sliced Mushrooms
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt as per taste
  • A pinch of Pepper

Method for making Mushroom Soup

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add onions and saute for a minute.
  • Add plain flour, mushrooms and fry for sometime.
  • When it is cooked, remove from the flame and blend it to a smooth paste.
  • Add some water ( nearly 3 cups ), salt and pepper.
  • Saute for sometime and Serve hot.
