Paneer Kalimirch Recipe – Ingredients, Method of Cooking

Paneer kalimirch is a special recipe which gives a peppery flavor to the recipe. It is quiet different from other gravy based curries. It is very simple and easy to cook. Ingredients for making Paneer Kalimirch

  • 2 cups Paneer (Cottage cheese) cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup fresh Cream
  • 2 tablespoon Milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 teaspoon crushed Kalimirch (Black pepper)
  • Salt as per taste
  • 2 tablespoon Oil

For grounding to a fine paste

  • 1 1/2 cup chopped Onions
  • 1/4 inch Ginger piece
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 cup Cashewnuts

Method for making Paneer Kalimirch

  • Take a pan and heat oil. Fry the fine paste which is ground and stir for 4-5 minutes.
  • Now add the paneer, cream, milk, turmeric powder, salt and some water and cook for a while.
  • Add the garam masala and the crushed kalimirch (black pepper) and mix well.
  • Paneer kalimirch is ready to serve.
