Paneer Korma Recipe – Ingredients, Method of Cooking

Paneer Korma is an awesome recipe. Paneer has a great ability of absorbing the flavors well. It is loved by everyone. Korma is considered popular in North Indian cuisines. There are different types of korma like vegetable korma or paneer korma. Even though the ingredients used are too less and quiet common, the final result is unique and delicious.

Ingredients for making Paneer Korma

  • 2 medium sized Tomatoes
  • 3/4 cup grated Onion
  • 2 green Cardamom (Elaichi)
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 2 cup Paneer Cubes (Cottage cheese) cut into 1/2 inch
  • 1/2 cup Cream
  • Salt as per taste
  • 2 tablespoon chopped Coriander (Dhania)
  • 3 tablespoon Oil

Method for making Paneer Korma

  • Boil the tomatoes. Don’t boil too much, as we are going to peel the skin and chop them (if the tomatoes are boiled too much they cannot be chopped). So, make a boil for only 10 minutes, remove, peel and chop the tomatoes.
  • Take a pan. Add oil, when it is hot, add the onions.
  • After a minute add cardamom, fry the onions till they turn translucent.
  • Add the tomatoes and saute for sometime .
  • Cook till the gravy leaves the oil.
  • Now add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and fry for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add paneer, cream and salt.
  • Garnish with coriander and Paneer korma is ready to serve.
